(NOTE: The initial report from Bisnow stated that PGA West was included as part of the deal. That apparently was in error)
A London-based private equity company has purchased the La Quinta Resort & Club for $255 million, according to a news report from Bisnow, the world’s leading B2B platform serving the commercial real estate industry. The property was acquired from Henderson Park, a U.S. private equity firm that acquired the two properties in 2018.
The sale does not include the golf courses at the sites. The courses – including one at Citrus – were acquired in 2020 by Century Golf Partners, in partnership with a South Korean firm. The deal placed the multiple courses under the management of Century’s Arnold Palmer Management brand.
